By registering for and attending a London Independent Pictures event, officially registered as London Independent Events Ltd, you agree to the following

 

Terms & Conditions.

1. Event Registration

By submitting your details through our website, you confirm that:

  • the information provided is accurate and complete;

  • you are at least 18 years old;

  • you agree to receive communications relating to the event, including updates and important information.

2. Tickets & Entry

  • Registration or ticket purchase does not guarantee entry if the event reaches venue capacity.

  • We reserve the right to refuse admission or remove attendees whose behaviour is inappropriate, unsafe, disruptive, or unlawful.

  • Tickets are non-transferable unless agreed otherwise by the organiser.

3. Photography & Videography

By attending the event, you acknowledge and agree that photography, videography, and audio recording may take place throughout the event.

You grant the organiser and its affiliates the right to use any photographs, video footage, or recordings containing your image, likeness, voice, or appearance for promotional, marketing, social media, website, press, and future event purposes without compensation or further notice.

If you do not wish to appear in photographs or recordings, you should notify the event organiser in writing prior to the event.

4. Data Protection & Privacy

Any personal information submitted through our website will be processed in accordance with applicable UK data protection laws, including the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

Your information may be used to:

  • manage event attendance;

  • communicate event updates;

  • improve our services;

  • send future event information and marketing communications where permitted.

We will not sell your personal data to third parties.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us.

5. Event Changes & Cancellation

We reserve the right to:

  • change the venue, speakers, schedule, or event format;

  • postpone or cancel the event where necessary due to circumstances beyond our control.

Where applicable, refunds will be handled in accordance with the ticket provider’s policy.

6. Liability

Attendees attend the event at their own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the organiser accepts no responsibility for:

  • personal injury;

  • loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings;

  • delays, disruptions, or circumstances outside reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.

7. Code of Conduct

We are committed to maintaining a respectful and inclusive environment. Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or inappropriate behaviour toward attendees, staff, speakers, or venue personnel will not be tolerated.

8. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for or attending the event, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
